4. According to the main performance and use of fittings, fittings can be roughly divided into the following categories
1). Suspended fittings, also known as supporting fittings or hanging clamps. This fitting is mainly used to suspend conductor insulator strings (mostly used in linear towers) and hang jumpers on insulator strings.
2). Anchor fittings, also known as fastening fittings or wire clamps. This fitting is mainly used to fasten the terminal of the wire so that it is fixed on the line-resistant insulator string, and is also used to fix the terminal of the lightning conductor and anchor the pull wire. The anchor fittings bear all the tension of the wires and lightning conductors, and some anchor fittings become conductors
3). Connecting fittings, also known as hanging parts. This fitting is used for connecting insulators in a string and for connecting the fittings and fittings. It bears mechanical load.
4). Connect the fittings. This fitting is specially used to connect various bare wires and lightning conductors. The connection bears the same electrical load as the wire, and most of the connection fittings bear the full tension of the wire or lightning conductor.
5). Protective fittings. This fitting is used to protect wires, insulators, etc., such as the equalizing ring used to protect insulators, the weight used to prevent pulling on insulator strings, and the anti-vibration hammer used to prevent wire vibration.
6). Contact with fittings. This fitting is used for the connection of hard busbars and soft busbars with the outgoing terminals of electrical equipment, T-connection of conductors and parallel connection without load, etc. These connections are electrical contacts. Therefore, higher electrical conductivity and contact stability of contact fittings are required.
7). Fixed fittings, also known as power plant fittings or high current bus fittings. This fitting is used for fixing and connecting various hard or soft busbars and post insulators in power distribution devices. Most fixed fittings are not used as electrical conductors.
