Process Steps For Corrosion Protection Of Power Fittings

The hardware used in the power system needs to bear a large pull to ensure the normal connection of the lines. Therefore, the damage of the hardware may cause the line failure. Except for a small number of cables laid underground, most of the cables for high-voltage distribution lines of 10KV and above are laid in the open air. Tower cross arm belong to the fittings, used to support the line in the weight of the cable, and between the high voltage cable and the earth is only a bottle (or trailer), insulation distance is short, once the tower cross arm bare by corrosion in the air, will affect a safe, stable and continuous operation, especially in high acid content in the air of industrialized areas, due to acid corrosion, such as high load, tower cross arm will accelerate the aging speed, easy to produce corona phenomena and tripping accidents.


The problem to be solved is to effectively resist acid and alkali corrosion of existing metal tools. The manufacturing steps of anti-corrosion electric power tools are as follows:

1. Firstly, remove the dirt on the surface of the power tools, and then evenly apply a coating on the surface of the power tools to increase their toughness and flexibility;

2. Coat the metalwork with a layer of epoxy resin, and lay a layer of glass cloth before the layer of epoxy resin solidifies;

3. Apply two layers of epoxy resin on the metal surface of the glass cloth, three layers of epoxy resin after the second layer of epoxy resin is solidified, and another two layers of glass cloth before the third layer of epoxy resin is solidified, and then apply four layers of epoxy resin on the second layer of glass cloth. Apply one or more layers of epoxy to the fourth layer. Apply one or more layers of epoxy to the second layer. Anti-corrosion metalwork includes: flexible layer coated on the metalwork, a layer of epoxy resin coated, a layer of glass cloth laid and a layer of epoxy resin coated. Two layers of epoxy, two layers of glass cloth and four layers of epoxy. The anticorrosive power fittings manufactured by the new method have the advantages of corrosion resistance, good insulation performance, good mechanical load bearing, flexibility and toughness.
